Fear

The biggest liar

To ever live

To you the credit I give:

Fear.

Fear,

The biggest lie

To ever live.

The biggest chain

On the foot of men.

The stumbling block,

The crippling belief

Of unachieved.

The mock of faith

When it’s believed.

A belief that scatters

Worth and pain.

All to make us

Regretful and ashamed.

Fear,

To you be the time

You’re unbelieved

And killed deep beneath

The air we breathe,

Beneath the oxygen

of belief

And power.

Fear is

A really bad liar.

The only fear

That is worthy to receive

The fear of God

That brings us

To our knees.
